Romeo’s Passion - is an intimate chamber opera portraying a family and its inner turmoil about their son’s coming out as gay. They must finally come to terms with this and the cancelling of his impending marriage to a childhood female sweetheart. It portrays the challenges of acceptance of difference and is an introduction to issues involved and the emotionally charged responses to this topic.
